This module takes you through part two of how paint torsos, plates, and cord stumps and is only required if you’re working with a sculpt with one. I used “Journey” by Laura Lee Eagles for the purpose of this tutorial. I cover brown shades on the cord, additional cord veining, and all the mottling layers for the torso, and the start of detailing on the torso. Bake between layers. For how to make the mottling colors, refer to both mottling modules.
Please note: you can use any tones on the cord or cord stump you’d like. Because Journey’s is super newborn, with a clamp that has just been cut, I show white/yellow layers. On cord stumps, you can do them more purple, blood shade, or brown/decaying shades. Possibilities are endless! Forthcoming images of different cord stumps in PDF as well.
